Abstract

L'invention concerne une enceinte de séchage de déjections d'animaux, notamment de fientes de volailles, qui est adaptée pour recevoir un mélange (M) de déjections fraîches et de déjections sèches, le fond (6) de celle-ci étant prévu pour retenir le mélange (M) tout en étant perméable à l'air (A), ce fond consistant en un ensemble d'éléments (60, 60') aptes à former chacun un moyen de retenue des déjections et comportant des moyens (T) qui permettent, périodiquement, de transférer hors de l'enceinte (1) et au trave rs de ce fond (6), une fraction de déjections sèches. Elle se caractérise essentiellement par le fait que lesdits éléments consistent en deux séries d e traverses horizontales (60, 60') organisées selon deux plans parallèles superposés (P1, P2), ces traverses (60, 60') étant disposées de telle manièr e que le fond (6) ne présente pas de solution de continuité en direction verticale, et par le fait que lesdits moyens de transfert (T) consistent en au moins un tiroir mobile horizontalement entre ces deux plans (P1, P2) de traverses (T), le déplacement longitudinal de ce tiroir, apte à balayer la totalité de la surface dudit fond d'une extrémité à l'autre, poussant les déjections accumulées sur le dessus des traverses (60') du plan inférieur (P2), de sorte qu'elles tombent par gravitéhors de l'enceinte. L'invention concerne également une installation de séchage équipée d'une telle enceinte.
