Abstract

Dans le procédé de traitement de la surface d'une bande, un liquide est ajouté sur la surface d'une bande de papier ou de carton (W), éventuellement avec d'autres constituants. Le pouvoir absorbant de la surface de la bande de papier ou de carton est augmenté avant que le liquide ne soit amené sur la surface de la bande ou simultanément à l'arrivée du liquide sur la surface de la bande. Le procédé est utilisé pour humidifier la surface de la bande avant le calandrage ou pour coucher la bande dans le collage ou la pigmentation de la surface. Le pouvoir absorbant de la surface est augmenté avant que ne soit amené le liquide, par exemple, à l'aide d'un traitement corona, à flammage, une ozonisation ou par addition de vapeur.
