Abstract

L'invention porte sur un séparateur de particules, notamment d'amalgame, d'un effluent liquide provenant d'un appareil de succion de cabinet dentaire actionné de préférence par une pompe ordinaire comportant un réservoir de décantation des particules solides et un vase d'expansion recevant le trop plein de l'effluent et le déversant dans le réservoir de décantation. Une dérivation reliée en parallèle avec le séparateur et le clapet anti-retour proche de l'orifice d'entrée du séparateur laisse passer de l'air dans le séparateur lorsque l'appareil de succion ne communique pas avec l'air ambiant . Ainsi lorsque la pompe à vide fonctionne, l'air est aspiré dans le séparateur soit via l'appareil de succion et l'orifice d'entrée du séparateur, soit via le clapet à vide. Le réservoir de trop plein comporte de préférence un détecteur de niveau de liquide et un alarme associée. On peut monter un dispositif auxiliaire de filtrage en aval du réservoir de décantation, ces deux unités étant de préférence modulaires et remplaçables. On peut en outre prévoir un équipement facultatif améliorant le filtrage et pouvant recevoir une source d'air sous pression.
