Abstract
La présente invention concerne des séquences nucléotidiques et d'acides aminés destinées à identifier et à coder un nouveau polypeptide exprimé de type insuline (ILP), exprimé par exemple à partir de cellules du colon ou de l'utérus. La présente invention concerne également les molécules antisens desdites séquences nucléotidiques codant l'ILP, des vecteurs d'expression permettant de produire un ILP purifié, des anticorps capables de se fixer spécifiquement à cet ILP, des sondes d'hybridation ou des oligonucléotides conçus pour détecter les séquences d'acide nucléique codant l'ILP, des cellules hôtes génétiquement manipulées permettant d'exprimer l'ILP, des tests destinés à diagnostiquer l'activation de type insuline en fonction des molécules d'acide nucléique codant l'ILP, et des anticorps capables de se fixer spécifiquement à la protéine.
