Abstract

Scie (10) à châssis compact (12) permettant de couper des pièces importantes et qui peut être actionnée de manière répétitive sans nécessiter l'activation manuelle d'un interrupteur de marche/arrêt. Un bras de support pivotant particulier (16) pivote vers l'extérieur en s'éloignant d'un bloc moteur (18) pour permettre de couper des pièces importantes tout en permettant à la scie de présenter des dimensions relativement compactes et de demeurer portable. Un mécanisme de commutation de puissance automatique (28, 30) est également prévu pour mettre le moteur de la scie automatiquement en marche lorsqu'une pièce est juxtaposée à la lame (20). L'établi (14) peut être glissé au-delà du châssis (12) de la scie pour que des pièces importantes puissent être coupées.
