Abstract

Fabrication of a press steel sheet coated with an allied galvanised layer, comprising a dip galvanising stage and a single stage thermal treatment for allying the galvanised sheet. The characteristics of the method are:- a) the maximum temperature attained by the strip during treatment is greater than or equal to 490 degrees C; b) the said maximum temperature and the duration of treatment are limited in a manner such that the average iron content in the allied coating obtained does not exceed 6 g/m<2>.
