Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de synthèse d'un agent de nettoyage disulfaté, lequel est obtenu à partir d'un anhydride cyclique substitué, et plus particulièrement, à partir d'un anhydride succinique substitué qui possède un ou plusieurs substituants de chaîne de carbone, cette dernière contenant au moins 5 atomes de carbone. Ce procédé comprend les étapes suivantes: (i) réduire l'anhydride cyclique substitué de manière à obtenir un diol; (ii) éventuellement alcoxyler le diol de manière à obtenir un diol alcoxylé; et (iii) sulfater le diol de manière à obtenir un disulfate. L'étape de réduction consiste à effectuer une hydrogénation en présence d'un catalyseur d'hydrogénation contenant un métal de transition, ladite hydrogénation étant effectuée sous pression.
