Abstract

L'invention présente un procédé, ainsi que le dispositif correspondant, permettant de déceler des colonies microbiennes dans un milieu de croissance inoculé et de les identifier. Le procédé consiste tout d'abord à obtenir une première image de ce milieu (100) puis, après un laps de temps d'incubation choisi (110), à prendre une seconde vue du même milieu (100). On obtient une image différence par la somme des différences entre les pixels correspondant dans les deux images (112). On identifie des colonies potentielles dans l'image différence en localisant des pixels de crête ayant des intensités maximales locales de pixels dans l'image différence ainsi que des gradients décroissants dans un certain nombre de directions prédéfinies (118). On valide les colonies potentielles comme réelles en éliminant les colonies potentielles présentant des crêtes de bruit ou du bruit autour de colonies précédemment validées (120).
