Abstract

The present invention is a storage unit to assemble similar to those that can be found in kit furniture stores. Its particularity resides in the principle of assembly which is made up of four main principles: ~ No tool is necessary for its assembly. ~ All the assembly elements are identical. ~ The storage unit braces naturally. ~ The storage unit is modular. The basic element of this storage unit, which is strictly speaking a bookcase, is in the form of a panel cut out of five slots: three transverse slots and one slot at each end. All the panels fit together, aligning the slots one inside the other. The bookcase is braced by inserting a panel transversely in the slots of the ends. Finally, this storage unit is modular. Several assembly combinations are therefore possible.

Description

I. La majorité des éléments à r~ semblent g_...,..'
II.
~ '-unit of Ih.lge ~; and a ~ ocon ~ lluctible The present invention is a unit of l ~ n ~ to ~ - 'I similar to those that can be found in kit furniture stores. The term t 'I ~ ~ q le will be used here instead of ~ unit of. angelll ~; lll ~ in order to facilitate the cu ... ~ hcnsioll and to lighten the text.
Most of the books read in kit form are simple, but they often hide a difficulty of a ~ ... l, l ~ e which is twofold:
I. The majority of the elements at r ~ seem g _..., .. '- i ~ t; ql ~ s but are not always the case and it often happens that the stages d '&., ~ lage must be repeated because an element of ~' ~
legal ~, .. lt; s was confused with another.
0 He. The ~, requires tools that many people do not have and which, when provided, are often lost over time. This causes a problem during a possible dF ~ u L, e. Screws, bolts and other small pieces ~ - ic, ~ are sometimes lost too.
Considering that ease of ~ is a purchase criteria for many people with reduced manual skill, it is this problem of ~ ~ F. that the present invention seeks to resolve ~, lobal., ... clll.
~ The solution offered by the invention lies in the idea of c. ~ -. L ~ .'t ~ ~ e zero. This solution develops in two major points:
I. All the elements of the L ", ILc ~ e à ~ - - '' are i (~ .... l; .lut. ~ For facilitate 1 ~ -. "I, ~ r.
II. No tool is necessary, to do this ~
A minimum of five elements or po n ~ Y, all ~ i lUt ~ are required to form a library. Each of the elements used constitutes an amount, a shelf or co. ~ Nte the library. The principle of ~ gF is simplified to ~ each of the elements fits together always the same way. Finally, each of the elements of the L ~ e is c ~. '':
h.le ~ chan ~., alile because it can perform all the functions of ac ~ eA. This avoids repeating inntilF-n ~ nt stages of ~ CC ~ gF. The b: bliolheq.le is assembled by hand since all connections are made without any screws, adhesive, clamp or wedge. All these plupri ~ t ~ s: panels idrntirluF ~ c tools not ncce ~ a;, es and ~. "lll ~ e simplified, make that the bi" i (i '~: S e is self-building.
Relative to the drawings which illustrate the reali;, alion of the invention:
~ Figure 1: plan of the element (panel) ~ Figure 2: detail and method of connection between the elements (panels) ~ nl unit ... oJuL.e and ~ - tocol - l.uctible ~ Figure 3: diagram of ~ p ~ of the basic configuration of the ~ e.
Figure 4: illustration of some cuulbillaisolls of r ~ A ;, possible figure 5: plan of the variant of the element (short panel) The basic element of the t: "~ ILc ~ read is a panel cut from five (53 slots: three (3) transverse slots and a slot at each end as shown in Figure 1. The r - e ~ of the library is done by aligning each slot as needed with those of the others ~ ~ The 40 principle of nesting is illustrated in Figure 2. This e.ll ~, lll constitutes PIUP ~ the only . type of connection to be made during the --- ~ ~~. No tool is r '.- e to perform this nesting operation. No tool is therefore conc ~ qu ~ nt s ~ t; to make c .. ll- ~ e. complete of IJ 'I; ~ ll, è ~ read. Figure 3 shows the basic ~ of b: bli.) ~ hcque. The all itlPntiquP ~ panels are inserted into each other. Panels A
serve as uprights, the panels B form the shelves, a panel C is ~. 'inserted transve. 'for col. ~ read ~ all. This CGIlllt; vtlll ~, lll is done in fac, on natural since logically uses ~ nt the same type of connection as all the other p ~ nn ~ Y n also allows llans effect ~ Ja ~ euce since the 1 ~ e has no front or back. What makes use it as a partition to divide a room. This system of r ----- The ~ is also modular.
So That is to say that several co ~ n-icollc d'c.s ~, llllJla3e are possible del) c.- ~ n1 of the number of panels used for ~ - "~~ the b '' ellheque. Figure 4 shows some of the possibilities of ass ~, .lllage. Another c ~ n ~ rC ~ u. ~ Basic lioll is illustrated in D. The system can be modulate horizontally as in E and F, it can modulate ~, cll; c ~ .1 as in G or the two at a time as in 11. The first pluloly ~ c of the "'' ~ - was made of wood.
panels could also be made of material .... 'I ~ u ~ or s ~.-tl. ~, t; 4ue like plastic or any type of polymer.
The panel drawn in figure I presents the proportions and the d - - - - which seem to most useful for everyday use of t ~ Ihcq ~ le. However the length of the panel and the number of side slots could be changed provided that these slots are fiOequhl ~ tnles and constant width. To this end, a variant of the panel illustrated in FIG.
added for the sole purpose of accommodating the modular aspect of the 1. ''; (: '' I e This variant is ~ pl llrl.l a shorter pamleau. We can note r - ~ ~ that the u '- indicated on Figures 1 and 5 are indicative. They can be adjusted according to the hll ~ of a industrial production.
