By French Patent No. 2,176,414 in the name of Mr. Drost Larsen, a document filing cabinet is known comprising at least two sets of identical steps which respectively form the base and the top of the cabinet and are connected by plates which form the side walls of the locker. In this patent, plates having a Z profile are used, fixed to one another in a removable manner, which form a series of racks inclined at about 15 to 20 ° and which thus make it possible to improve the maintenance of flexible classified documents.

A document filing cabinet is also known, in particular described in patent US-1-1 379 790.

This document relates to a filing cabinet system associable with each other comprising two parts substantially at 90 ° whose lower part is arranged horizontally. This device does not allow regular and stable coherent storage of flexible documents.

The present invention relates to a modular oblique locker which allows a result similar to that provided by the first cited patent but with greater simplicity. According to the invention, document filing compartments comprise a series of compartments arranged side by side and capable of being inserted in an assembly comprising two parallel vertical walls joined by a horizontal wall, and are characterized in that: a) each compartment contains a plate in the shape of a W, the elements of which are at right angles to each other, the first being much longer, the third shorter than the second and the fourth longer than the third but also shorter than the second; b) the assembly of each plate can receive the line separating the parts of the neighboring plate; c) a “finishing piece having only three parts instead of four, the first of which is identical to the first element of the aforementioned plates and the second is similar to the second of the aforementioned plates but has two lateral slides which can, during the mounting, to be inserted under the third element of the last of the plates of the aforementioned series, is associated with the last of the plates which precedes it and bears by its vertical wall against the associated vertical plate.

This very simplified system requires neither tenons nor mortise, because the locking of the compartments between them is obtained by the fact that the last element of each W comes to be inserted under the following compartment; in this way, a locker automatically locks the previous lockers by pressing on the last aforementioned element; locking is more important if the locker is full of documents.

In FIGS. 1 to 3, it can be seen that each of the compartments according to the invention is produced from a rectangular plate 1, preferably made of rigid steel, divided into four parts, 1a, 1b, 1cet 1d of different heights, separated , to facilitate the transformation of the plate 1; by lines 2, 3 and 4. The upper part 1a is that which has the greatest height; the first intermediate part 1b has a height less than that of part 1a but greater than that of part 1c (which is the smallest of the four), and the lower part 1d has a height slightly less than that of part 1b. To make a locker as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, part 1 is bent at a right angle upwards around line 2, then part 1c downwards around line 2 parallel to part 1a, and finally part 1d perpendicular to part 1c and parallel to part 1b around line 4.

In FIG. 2, we see at 5 part of a vertical wall of a frame intended to receive a set of lockers according to the invention, and at 6 a part of one of the horizontal walls intended to support this set of lockers . As in the case of the document filing cabinet which is the subject of the aforementioned French patent n ° 2176414, the parts 1a and 1c of each cabinet are preferably inclined by approximately 15 ° relative to the vertical and the lines 2 and 4 rest on the wall horizontal 6. Figure 3 shows in perspective the plate 1. We will describe below, with reference to Figure 7, the mode. connecting the different lockers.

In Figures 4 to 6, we see the realization of the "finishing piece which ensures the blocking of each series of lockers. A plate 7 constituting the “finishing piece also comprises an upper part 7a of the same height as the part 1b of the plates 1, but it differs from the plate 1 in that its part 7b has two projections 8 of height less than that of the main part and which are intended to receive the part 1d of the last of the plates 1 as will be described below. As for the part 7c, it is parallel to the wall 7a, and its height is the same as that of the parts 1c of the plates 1. The separation folds of the parts 7a and 7b are designated by the references. these respective 9 and 10.

In practice, when we want to permanently fix the racks of a horizontal row, we bring the part 7a of the plate 7 practically in contact with the part 1c of the previous rack, and we fold each of the parts 8 of the plate 7b as this can be seen in FIGS. 5 to 7. Part 1 c of plate 1 of the previous rack is practically in contact with part 7a of plate 7, and part 1 d is inserted under and practically in contact with part 7b of plate 7, the “edges” 8 of this plate retaining the last plate 1 and, consequently, all of these plates.

In FIG. 7, it can be seen that it is easy to insert into the assembly of each of the parts 5, 6 a variable number of parts 1, having parts 1 of different dimensions, and that the use of the plate 7 makes it easier to assemble the assembly, since the installation of the "edges" 8 of the part 7 is sufficient in itself to maintain all the plates 1.

It should be understood that the embodiment described and shown has only been given by way of nonlimiting example, and can undergo numerous modifications of detail without thereby departing from the object of the invention such as described in the appended claims.

In particular, the lockers can be made of any material such as wood, plastic, etc., and the lockers can be provided with notches to facilitate the taking of documents.

Claims (2)

1. Modulable oblique bin, in particular for the sorting of documents, including a series of compartments, each compartment including a folded plate so that to form a plurality of successive units facing each other and which can be inserted into a unit consisting of two parallel vertical walls (5) connected by a single horizontal wall (6), and characterized in that:

a) the plate of each compartment contains four successive folded sections (1a. 1b. 1c. 1d) in the shape of a W, said sections being at right angles one to another, the first section (1a) being the longest by far and tilted between 15 and 25 from the vertical, the third section (1c) being shorter than the second section (1b) and the fourth (1d) being longer than the third but also shorter than the second ;

b) each third (1c) and fourth (1d) assembly unit of each plate receives the line (2) separating the first section (1a) from the second section (1 b) of the following plate ;

c) a « finishing piece (7) is identical to said folded plate in the shape of a W but including not the fourth element (1d) and the second section (1b) of which includes two lateral folded back parts (8) which can, in the course of assembly, be inserted under the fourth section (1d) of the last plate (1) in the above mentioned series, so that to form a guide which associates the «finishing piece to last foregoing plate (1), the first inclined section (7a) of this « finishing piece being supported against the third inclined section (1c) of the last associated plate.

2. Modulable oblique bin according to claim 1, characterized in that the second section (1 b) of each plate (1) may have a length that is determined as a function of the volume of the objects the bin is to be receiving.
