Abstract

La divulgation décrit un appareil, connu dans l'industrie du sciage sous le nom d'alimentateur de planches ou de plateaux, utilisé pour séparer et déplacer latéralement, une à une, des pièces de bois ayant au moins deux faces parallèles sciées ou découpées. Ces pièces sont d'abord transportées côte à côte jusqu'à
l'appareil, sur une seule couche, au moyen de chaînes porteuses multiples qui les déplacent transversalement.
Elles sont ensuite saisies individuellement en amont de l'appareil par un mécanisme constitué d'un grappin, monté
sur un élément rotatif qui les dépose une à une en aval, au moyen de chaînes d'accélération, sur un groupe de chaînes de réception munies de taquets, assurant ainsi l'alimentation uniforme contrôlée d'un procédé de fabrication.
