Description
The present invention relates to a device portable, removable signaling panel mounted on a deployable base placed on the ground in service position, usable in particular for traffic road lation.
Various signaling devices are already known reading of this type, such as those described for example in US Patents 3,153,872 and 4,365,435. These provisions known signaling devices have some number of disadvantages and in particular they are relatively heavy and expensive in the long run, especially when have large panels. They generally lead to transport difficulties, in particular by their shape and their bulk as to packaging and installation and their significant weight both tend to worsen the consequences of a shock from a vehicle passing near the sign and likely to inadvertently hitting him. Furthermore these devices often have insufficient stability, despite inconvenient ballasting, for example using pigs cast iron or sandbags, especially with respect to the wind who can overturn the panel and make it invi-sensitive then dangerous for road users who pass to the location of such a sign.
The present invention aims to remedy these disadvantages in providing a signaling device removable, light, economical, requiring no-floor, easy to transport and set up and pre-feeling moreover a satisfactory stability in position service, especially to withstand the effects of wind.
To this end, this portable signaling device removable station, with indicator panel mounted on a pedestal deployable placed on the ground in the service position, usable especially for road traffic, in which the deployable base consists of two articulated front and rear elements, in their parts ~ g ~ `

Pour permettre d'obtenir une faible épaisseur du dispositif de signalisation en position repliée comme il est représenté sur les figures 7 à 10, la distance externe entre les deux tubes constituant les deux bran-ches latérales 2a,2b de l'élément de piétement avant 2est choisie un peu inférieure à la distance interne entre les deux tubes constituant les deux branches latérales 3a,3b de l'élément de piétement arrière 3. De ce fait, en position repliée, l'élément de piétement avant 2 peut venir se loger à l'intérieur de l'élément de piétement arrière 3, dans le même plan que celui-ci. Dans cette ;
I 33 5 9 ~ 6 upper, around a horizontal axis so that be able to be applied one on the other or in the other in the storage and transport position or to be removed bent, in the service position by forming a dihedral in support on the ground, the front base element carrying the indicator panel, is characterized in that the panel indicator is permanently hinged, at its lower part on the lower part of the front base, about a horizontal axis parallel to the axis of articulation-tion of the two base elements, and in that elastic return means are provided between the parts bottom of the indicator panel and the pedestal element front to elastically recall the indi-in a substantially vertical position when the base is deployed.
The signaling device according to the invention The advantage is that the sign is very stable because when subjected to a push exercising from front to back it rests on the whole ble of the base which adheres only better to the ground and quite opposite, when it is subjected to a back push forward, it rests on the lateral branches of the front element of the base and it then benefits, by leverage, of the whole counterweight of the whole base. In addition the momentary oscillations created by strong air movements, due for example to passage of cars, give movement to the message that the panel carries, messages that become even more present and more effective.
In addition, the simplicity and lightness of the signaling device according to the invention make that it is very handy and that it can be transferred very simply in just a few seconds from its area storage to where it should be placed vice, and similarly when picked up until his return to its storage area. These maneuvers are carried out without ~,. '' ~ 3 ~ l 3 3 5 9 4 6 that it is necessary to use any tool that in a simple way, and without effort and without the panel poses no risk whatsoever due to road or highway traffic.
The signaling device has, folded down, very compact and in the same state deployed when folded, it has no sail-harsh, aggressive or dangerous, likely to damage the safety of service personnel or the safety of motorists in the event of collisions or accidents. Because its lightness and small footprint it cannot constitute no discomfort or danger for the personnel responsible for handling it. Furthermore, it requires no costly maintenance due to its simplicity of design, is very reliable and can have a long service life.
It can be packaged in a very small volume and it is transportable in sufficient quantity by any vehicle light cule to ensure signaling assemblies meeting road safety standards namely signaling of works, signaling of accidents, maintenance signaling as well as to ensure mobile advertising actions etc.
The device according to the invention which does not require the use of no test, can be used not only for road signs but still in others areas for example for advertising on the premises of sale or others.
We will describe below, by way of example not limiting, an embodiment of the present invention tion, with reference to the attached drawing in which:

The following removable signaling device the invention which is shown in the drawing is planned, by way of nonlimiting example for the control or the road traffic service. This device com-essentially carries an indicator panel 1 which is permanently mounted on a base consisting of two elements tubular elements 2 front and rear 3 connected one to the other, to their upper parts, via an articulation device 4 with a horizontal axis. The two base elements 2,3 each have a U shape inverted and they each include two side branches respective tubular, parallel to each other, namely the branches 2a, 2b for the front base element 2 and the branches 3a, 3b for the rear base element 3.
Each of these lateral branches 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b is constituted killed by a circular cross-section tube which is ~ ' angled and flattened at the top to form a respective upper horizontal cross member 2c, 3c constituting the core of the U formed by the base element respective 2.3. The two flattened tubular sleepers 2c, 3c are connected to each other by the device upper articulation 4 which will be described in more detail far.
The two lateral branches 3a, 3b of the element rear legs 3 are connected to each other, to their lower parts by a horizontal crosspiece 5 and the two lateral branches 2a, 2b of the base element before 2 are connected to their parts lower, by means of two bars horizontal and transverse torsion, namely a bar torsion bar 6 and a lower torsion bar 7. These two torsion bars 6,7 extend horizontally and transversely through holes 8.9 (Figure 3) drilled horizontally and transversely in the lower part of the panel 1.
The upper torsion bar 6 is fixed at its end.
left side in Figure 1, to the left side branch 2a of the front base element 2, by means of a point of welding 11, it passes through the upper hole 8 drilled in the lower part of panel 1 and it is fixed to this panel 1, at its right end, by means of a solder point 12. In the same way the bar lower twist 7 is fixed, at its right end, to the right lateral branch 2b of the base element before 2, by means of a welding point 13, it extends ~ through the lower hole 9 drilled in the lower part panel 1 and it is fixed at its end left, at panel 1, by means of a welding point 14.
The two torsion bars 6,7 are mounted and fixed to the panel 1 and to the front base element 2 so that when the base 2,3 is deployed and panel 1 released, this panel takes a sensitive position , ~
clearly vertical. In this position the panel 1 can oscillate freely from the vertical around a lower articulation axis defined by the two bars of torsion 6.7.
The articulation device 4 of the two elements front legs 2 and rear legs 3 includes, as it appears more clearly in FIG. 4, a char-nière 15 whose two wings 15a, 15b are fixed, by example by means of rivets 16, respectively to the two flattened tubular sleepers 2c, 3c constituting the cores of the two elements 2.3. The ar-ticulation 4 is advantageously provided with a spring tending to keep the two elements apart from each other legs 2.3 in the deployed position, forming a dihedral with an angle substantially equal to 9o, as it is shown in Figures 1, 2 and 4. This spring is advantageously constituted by an elastic metal blade tick 17 arched so ~ constitute a surface cylindrical around the axis of the hinge 15 and of which the flat end portions 17a, 17b, folded towards the exterior and contained in radial planes, are engaged respectively between the wings 15a, 15b of the hinge 15 and the flattened tubular crossbars 2c, 3c of so as to be kept tight between them and locked with rivets 16.
To make it possible to obtain a small thickness of the signaling device in the folded position as it is shown in Figures 7 to 10, the distance external between the two tubes constituting the two branches side panels 2a, 2b of the front base element 2is chosen a little less than the internal distance between the two tubes constituting the two lateral branches 3a, 3b of the rear base element 3. As a result, in the folded position, the front base element 2 can come and stay inside the base element rear 3, in the same plane as this. In this ;
- 7 ~ l 335946 folded position the upper part of the panel indicates tor 1 is pressed, under the action of the return means elastic of the indicator panel 1, constituted by the torsion bars 6,7, against a stop 18 fixed under the lower central part of the tubular cross member flattened upper 3c of the rear base element
~ 7 . 3. In this folded position, because the panel 1 is maintained in the plane of the base element before 2, the torsion bars 6,7 are constrained in torsion and they elastically stress the panel 1 to keep it pressed against the stop 18.
