Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of the chassis for a vacuum cleaner as shown in the drawings; the chassis for a vacuum cleaner has a pair of large generally cylindrical wheel-like elements situated on either side of the raised rear section of the chassis for the vacuum cleaner; the raised rear section has a housing portion with a curved upper surface which generally follows the contour of the wheel-like elements; the housing portion has a pair of upwardly extending short spaced-apart cylindrical elements adjacent the left side thereof and a larger outwardly curved cover-like element with an angled open right side; under the larger cover-like element is a pair a smaller and similarly curved cover-like elements each of which follows the contour of the larger cover-like element; between the larger cover-like element and the short cylindrical elements is a raised area with a flat and angled lower forward surface below an irregular shaped with rounded corners angled upper forward surface; a pair of flat spaced-apart generally parallel and generally L-shaped in side view elements extend rearwards from the rear surface of the raised area and merge into the rear surface of a pair of symmetrical arcuate in plan view elements each having a scalloped rear surface; the housing portion merges through forwards and downwards converging side areas into the front section of the chassis for the vacuum cleaner; the front section has a curved front surface in plan view; between the converging side areas is a through-hole with parallel flat side surfaces in plan view that merge into diverging side surfaces in plan view.Diagrams of the design are included wherein:Fig. 1 is a right front perspective view from above of the design of the chassis for a vacuum cleaner;Fig. 2 is a top plan view thereof;Fig. 3 is a bottom view thereof;Fig. 4 is a right side elevation view thereof;Fig. 5 is a left side elevation view thereof;Fig. 6 is a front elevation view thereof; andFig. 7 is a rear elevation view thereof.
