Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of the vacuum cleaner as shown in the drawings; the most novel and distinctive features of the vacuum cleaner are the dirt collection bin and the lower housing of the vacuum cleaner; the dirt collection bin is situated above and toward the front of the lower housing of the vacuum cleaner; the dirt collection bin is angled downwards and forwards and has an upper section and a lower section; the upper section has a cylindrical shape and an angled bottom edge which merges into the truncated conical lower section which has a circular lower end which is generally parallel to the upper edge of the cylindrical upper section of the dirt collection bin; the lower housing of the vacuum cleaner has a pair of large generally cylindrical wheel-like elements situated on either side of the raised rear section of the lower housing; the raised rear section has a curved upper surface which generally follows the contour of the wheel-like elements; the raised rear section has an outwardly curved cover-like element with an angled open right side; under the larger cover-like element is a pair a smaller and similarly curved cover-like elements each of which follows the contour of the larger cover-like element; the raised rear section presents a pair of symmetrical vertically aligned arcuate in plan view elements which are situated at the rear end of the vacuum cleaner, each element having a scalloped rear surface; the lower housing merges through forwards and downwards converging side areas into the front section of the lower housing of the vacuum cleaner which is situated beneath the lower section of the dirt collection bin; the front section has a curved front surface in plan view.Diagrams of the design are included.Fig. 1 is a right front perspective view from above of the design of the vacuum cleaner;Fig. 2 is a top plan view thereof;Fig. 3 is a bottom view thereof;Fig. 4 is a right side elevation view thereof;Fig. 5 is a left side elevation view thereof;Fig. 6 is a front elevation view thereof; andFig. 7 is a rear elevation view thereof.
