Abstract

A plant pot is described, the bottom of which is removable to facilitate unloading. The bottom rests on a thin strip projecting inside the container. This strip is interspersed with two spaces for the passage of the ends of a bar pivoted in its middle under the center of the bottom. By turning the bar, these ends engage under the strip and lock the bottom in place.

Description

'10~ 3~!~

Relativement au~ dessins qui illustrent la réali~ation de l'invsntion, la figure 1 represente une vue de la pièce servant de fond;
la figure 2 repré~ente une vue du barreau (pièce servant d'attache);
la ~igure 3 représente une vus du contenant sans fond;
Le pot A, illustre à la figure 5, diffère des pots pour plantes exi~tant présentement par les particularités suivantes;

The pr ~ ssnte invention consists in the manufacture of pots ~ making the soup of plants easier.
There is a wide variety of pots in the trade for plants. If, at times, we notice anodyne difference ~ in the present-tation and form in css jars, they should all be handled the same way when depositing a plant. (It is recommended to strike on the sides and the bottom of the pot to detach the clod of terra, then pull the plant by the base of its trunk or overturn the pot to the snuff out). Even with dexterity cstts manipulation often causes damage to the stems and roots of plants. So for some species, it is practically impossible to deposit them without ab them.
I have discovered that this damage can be avoided by the user.
reading of a removable bottom pnt. With such a background, it su ~ made to take the pot with one hand, with the fingers of the other hand, turn the clip under the pot and push on the bottom so that the plant coming out of the pot either easily maneuverable by the base of its trunk or by its constituent mound pre ~ that entirely of roots.
Relative to the ~ drawings which illustrate the realization of invsntion, Figure 1 shows a view of the part serving as a background;
Figure 2 represents ~ ente a view of the bar (part used attachment);
~ igure 3 shows a view of the bottomless container;
Figure 4 shows a sectional view of the bottomless container as well as the room serving as the background; and FIG. 5 represents a view of the removable bottom attached to the Now bottomless giving an overview of the plant pot.
Pot A, shown in Figure 5, differs from pots for plants currently exi ~ so by the following features;
comma illustr ~ in Figure 3 at the basa st inside the container A
which is open at both ends, is in place of the conventional bottom, a minca and ~ narrow band 6, which falt protrudes inside the container and which serves as ~ upport to the removable bottom 4. This strip 6 8 ~ tl ~ g ~ ersment Detracted from the lower edge Al of the container A and is a ~

1.0 "3 ~ 3 ~ 9 entrecoup ~ ed ~ spaces 7, sufficient to allow the small bar 3, illu ~ trb to ~ igure 2, to enter these spaces ~ 7.
As illustrated in FIG0 1, the removable bottom 4, cut dimension to rest well on the strip 6, is troub in 2 to allow the water drainaga at is provided with a small rod 8 at the center, to which the bar 3 used for attachment will be riv ~. This bottom 4 is not flat but bombb (see Fioure 4); this will bviter at the time of watering that the surplus of water dripping onto the plate under the pot comes into contact with root of the plant ~ This facilitates aus ~ i the grip by the end of fingers of the bar 3 to turn it.
The bar 3 serving as attachment, illustrated in FIG. 2, con-sists in a thin piece of rigid, longitudinally straight material, size of the same length as the diameter of the bottom 4 and of sufficient width to enter spaces 7 of strip 6. This bar 3 is troub at center in 3 'and ~ anointed with a rivet to the rod ~, sitube in the center of the bottom 4, so as 8tre ~ anié as a turnstile. As illustrated in the Figure 5, to attach the removable bottom 4 to the container A ~ years bottom, it ~ 'acts, after having dfiposs the bottom on the strip 6, to place the bar ; 3 d ~ already attached to the removable bottom 4 in the eRpaces 7 and turn the bar 3 under strip 6.
