The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a combined cleaning and polishing appliance having a generally cylindrical rear portion, a short generally cylindrical, laterally extending intermediate section, a central portion, and a brush portion; the rear portion has a series of spaced-apart laterally extending grooves within a generally oval area which extends along most of the length of the lower surface of the rear portion; the rear portion has a slightly raised generally oval section extending along most of the length of the upper surface of the rear portion; the rear portion has an end cap section having a central circular area, an intermediate annular area and an outer area, a series of generally identical radially extending elongated protuberances span the intermediate annular area and a portion of the central circular area and a series of smooth curved depressions are situated around the periphery of the end cap section with a depression being situated between each pair of adjacent elongated protuberances; the rear portion merges into the intermediate section which has domed ends and a domed projection which extends upwards and rearwards from the upper surface thereof; a diametrically extending narrow projection having flat surfaces extends outwards from the left domed end of the intermediate section; the central portion has a smooth curved convex surface and a generally cylindrical lower projection which extends downwards and rearwards from and merges into the lower surface of the central portion adjacent the front end thereof; the outer end of the generally cylindrical lower projection has an annular bevelled end section; the forward end of the central portion has a series of laterally extending grooves which extend along the sides of the central portion and the generally cylindrical lower projection and then extend across the lower surface of the generally cylindrical lower projection; the front end of the central portion merges into the rear end of the brush portion, the curvature of the outer surface of the rear end of the brush portion following the smooth curved convex surface of the central portion.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a right-side elevational view of the design of the combined cleaning and polishing appliance provided with a brush with long or short bristles;Fig. 2 is a left-side elevational view thereof;Fig. 3 is a front elevational view thereof;Fig. 4 is a rear elevational view thereof;Fig. 5 is a top plan view thereof; andFig. 6 is a bottom plan view thereof.Diagrams of the design are included.
