Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un coussin pour banquette avant ou arrière d'un véhicule automobile, qui reste parfaitement fixé à la banquette véhicule et est confortable et sécuritaire. Ce coussin est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un siège fait d'une substance mo?lleuse capitonnée, s'étendant sur toute la longueur du siège de la banquette du véhicule; un dossier fait de la même substance que le siège, s'étendant sur toute la longueur du dossier de la banquette du véhicule; un faux siège fait en une substance souple et résistante, prolongeant vers l'arrière le siège du coussin sur toute la longueur de ce dernier, lequel faux siège est destine à être introduit entre le siège et le dossier de la banquette du véhicule automobile pour retenir le coussin sur ladite banquette; au moins deux supports s'étendant sensiblement parallèlement au siège du coussin depuis le haut du dossier dudit coussin vers l'arrière du véhicule, pour engager la bordure supérieur du dossier de la banquette et ainsi assurer un meilleur positionnement du coussin sur cette dernière; un jeu d'attaches élastiques ajustables, fixées aux supports et à l'extrémité avant du siège du coussin; un appui-bras disposé près du milieu du siège du coussin, composé d'un coffre et d'un couvercle capitonné avec la même substance mo?lleuse que le siège; et un jeu d ouvertures aux rebords renforcés, disposées dans le bas du siège du coussin pour laisser passer les ceintures de sécurité du véhicule automobile.The subject of the invention is a cushion for the front or rear seat of a motor vehicle, which remains perfectly fixed to the vehicle seat and is comfortable and safe. ` ~0684Z0 ; La présente invention se rapporte a un coussin destine a être installe sur la banquette avant ou arriere d'un vehicule automobile de façon ~ en ameliorer le confort.
Il est d'usage courant pour le chauffeur et/ou les ~ passagers d'un vehicule auto~obile, d'utiliser un coussin pour - ameliorer son ou leurs conforts lorsqu'il est ou ils sont mal assis.
Bien que divers modeles de coussin pour auto existent actuellement dans le commerce, le choix offert au consommateur est cependant assez limite. En fait, la plupart des coussins pour auto disponibles dans le commerce sont faits avec des mate-riaux de mauvaise qualite et ont toujours la même forme carree et sans attaches.
Ces coussins ne sont que tres rarement fixes aux sièges de l'automobile et ont tendance à se deplacer et même tomber lorsque le chauffeur et/ou les passagers descendent de l'auto ce qui necessite une remise en place soit immediate, soit lorsque on remonte dans l'auto.
Ces coussins sont generalement peu confortables et se detériorent vite. De plus, aucun d'entre eux ne présente d'appui-bras, de dossier ou d'appui-tête.
Aucun d'entre eux aussi ne recouvre la totalité des sièges ou de la banquette, de façon a en faire bénéficier la totalite des occupants de l'automobile.
Il a maintenant été découvert que l'on pouvait remédier aux inconvénients ci-dessus mentionnés en utilisant un coussin pour banquette comprenant: un siège fait d'une substance moëlleuse capitonnée, s'étendant sur toute la longueur du siege de la banquette du vehicule; un dossier fait de la me~me substance que le siège, s'etendant sur toute la longueur du dossier de 12, banquette du véhicule; un faux siège fait en une substance souple - et résistante, prolongeant vers l'arrière le siège du coussin sur toute la longueur de ce dernier, lequel faux siège est destiné à

Grâce aux attaches, aux supports et au faux-siège, le coussin selon l'invention est parfaitement maintenu en place.
L'invention sera mieux comprise a la lecture de la description qui va suivre, faite avec référence aux dessins annexés, sur lesquels: ~
la figure 1 représente un premier mode de réalisation d'un coussin selon l'invention, pour une banquette d'auto;
la figure 2 représente un second mode de réalisation d'un coussin selon l'invention pour une banquette d'auto;
la figure 3 représente un troisième mode de réalisation d'un coussin selon l'invention pour un siège d'auto seulement.
Les coussins pour banquette illustrés sur les figures 1 et 2 comprennent chacun un dossier 1, un siège 2 et un appui~
bras 4. L'appui-bras 4 est composé d'un coffre 5 qui est fait en bois ou en plastique, et est muni d'un couvercle 6 rembourré
avec une substance moëlleuse, comme par exemple du caoutchouc mousse. Le couvercle 6 a ses rebords 7 arrondis et est pourvu d'une serrure non représentée.

10684i:0 Le siège 2 et le dossier 1 sont rembourres avec la même substance que le couvercle 6 et sont pourvus de piqûres de renforcement 14. Ils sont tous deux dimensionnés de fa~on à
recouvrir la totalité de la banquette avant ou arriere d'un véhicule. Le siege 2 comprend un faux siege 18, qui peut être fait par exemple d'un cuir tres épais. Ce faux siege 18 dépasse le siège et est destine a être introduit entre le siege et le dossier de la banquette du vehicule automobile afin de retenir le coussin sur la banquette.
Le dossier 1 du coussin est muni d'un appui-tête 3 et d'un support 9 s'etendant sensiblement parallelement au siège 1 depuis le haut du dossier 1 vers l'arriere du vehicule. Ce support 9 est destine a être introduit entre le dossier de la banquette du vehicule et l'appui-tête de cette derniere, s'il y en un, de façon a obtenir un meilleur positionnement du coussin.
Le dossier 1 et le siege 2 du coussin sont maintenus en place grâce à un jeu d'attaches ajustables 8, fixees aux supports 9 et a l'avant du siège 2. Les attaches 8 comprennent chacune des moyens conventionnels d'ajustement des moyens de fixation, tels qu'une boutonniere 13 et un elastique 19 pour maintenir l'attache 8 toujours tendue.
Les attaches 8 servent a retenir le coussin sur la ban-quette de l'automobile. Elles peuvent s'attacher soit a la banquette de l'automobile, soit ~ une serie de moyens de fixation correspondants 12, tels que des boutons, dispose tout a fait a l'avant du siege 2. Afin de faciliter la fixation des attaches à la banquette du véhicule, on peut utiliser des crochets 11 tels qu'illustrés sur la figure 2, a la place de boutonnieres.
Le dossier 1 comprend également un bouton 12 au milieu de chacune de ses extrémités latérales, pour fixer un sac a rebut (non illustré), si besoin est. Le dossier l comprend des entrees lO pour les ceintures de securite de l'automobile. Ces entrees peuvent être entouxrees de piqûres 15 de façon à leur assurer une meilleure résistance.
L'appui-bras 4,comme tout appui-bras, peut être pourvu d'un cendrier 17 entrant dans une fente 16, et offrir un petit coffret pour les articles personnels, comme par exemple, la banque d'un livreur ou d'un chauffeur de taxi, un paquet de cigarettes et un briquet,ou tout autre article.
Le coussin illustre a la figure 3, est destine a être utilise pour un siege d'automobile seulement. Les coussins illus-trés sur les figures l et 2 sont destinés a être utiliser pour une banquette entiere, de double largeur. Ces coussins sont particu-lierement interessants puisqu'ils assurent du confort non seulement au chauffeur mais egalement a son ou ses passagers de droite, l'appui-bras pouvant servir pour placer par exemple le siege : d'un bebé. Ces coussins sont egalement tres interessants puisqu'ils permettent d'utiliser facilement les ceintures de s~curité de . 20 l'automobile.

The seat cushions illustrated in the figures 1 and 2 each include a backrest 1, a seat 2 and a support ~
arm 4. The armrest 4 is composed of a chest 5 which is made made of wood or plastic, and has a padded cover 6 with a soft substance, such as rubber foam. The cover 6 has its rounded edges 7 and is provided a lock not shown.

10684i: 0 Seat 2 and backrest 1 are padded with the same substance as cover 6 and are provided with punctures reinforcement 14. They are both sized so that cover the entire front or rear seat with vehicle. Seat 2 includes a false seat 18, which can be made for example of very thick leather. This false seat 18 exceeds the seat and is intended to be inserted between the seat and the backrest of the motor vehicle seat to retain the cushion on the bench.
The backrest 1 of the cushion is provided with a headrest 3 and a support 9 extending substantially parallel to the seat 1 from the top of the backrest 1 towards the rear of the vehicle. This support 9 is intended to be introduced between the file of the vehicle seat and headrest, if there is one in one, so as to obtain a better positioning of the cushion.
The backrest 1 and the seat 2 of the cushion are maintained in place thanks to a set of adjustable fasteners 8, fixed to the supports 9 and at the front of the seat 2. The fasteners 8 serve to retain the cushion on the ban-automobile quette. Claims

The embodiments of the invention about which an exclusive right of property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:

1. Cushion for front or rear bench seat motor vehicle, characterized in that it comprises:
a seat made of a soft padded substance extending over the entire length of the bench seat, vehicle;
a file made of the same substance as the seat, extending over the entire length of the seat backrest of the vehicle;
a false seat made of a flexible and resistant substance aunt, extending the seat of the cushion backwards over all the length of the latter, which false seat is intended to be inserted between the seat and the back of the bench seat motor vehicle for retaining the cushion on said seat;
at least two supports extending substantially parallel-the seat of the cushion from the top of the back of said cushion towards the rear of the vehicle, to engage the upper edge of the seat backrest and thus ensure a better posi-operation of the cushion on the latter;
a set of adjustable elastic fasteners, fixed to the supports and at the front end of the cushion seat;
an armrest located near the middle of the seat cushion, composed of a chest and a padded cover with the same soft substance as the seat; and a set of openings with reinforced edges, arranged at the bottom of the cushion seat to let the motor vehicle seat belts.

2. Seat cushion according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a clip arranged at mid height at each of the lateral ends of the cushion backrest, to hang a waste bag, if necessary.
