The said industrial design is characterized by a portable electric driver having a generally symmetrical battery portion, a driver portion and a generally symmetrical grip portion extending between the top of the battery portion and the driver portion; the battery portion has front and rear walls, a left side wall, and a right side wall which curves outwardly between the front and rear walls; smooth rounded corners extend between the left side wall and the front and rear walls; the battery portion has a bottom surface which extends generally at right angles to the walls of the battery portion; generally rectangular projections having rounded end corners and beveled outer edges extend outwardly from the front and rear walls of the battery portion and a pair of elongated projections having rounded ends extend part way along the front and rear walls above the generally rectangular projections; an upper surface of the battery portion extends from the left side wall and from the front and rear walls to the grip portion; the grip portion has curved left side and right side surfaces, and front and rear surfaces, the left side surface having a trigger extending outwardly therefrom at the upper end thereof; the right side surface extends upwards and curves gradually forwards from the top surface of the battery portion and then extends rearwards and upwards to the driver portion; the front and rear surfaces each have a pair of slots adjacent the upper surface of the battery portion and spaced-apart grooved sections with rounded ends which extend upwardly and to the left along the grip portion; a continuous groove extends across the right side surface of the grip portion and then extends upwards and to the left along the front and rear walls thereof and then bends through an acute angle and then extends rearwards to the driver portion; the continuous groove then follows a generally U-shaped path to the left along the sides of the driver portion and then continues across the top of the driver portion; a pair of projections extend outwardly from the upper ends of the front and rear surfaces of the grip portion adjacent the driver portion; the driver portion has a tapered frustoconical left end section with two aligned generally cylindrical projections of decreasing diameter extending outwardly therefrom and a generally flat right end surface; the frustoconical section has a plurality of identical spaced apart tapered grooves extending along the frustoconical section; a second series of identical contiguous grooves extends along the length of the driver portion and terminate adjacent the frustoconical section; the right end of the driver portion has a smooth tapered surface section which extends part-way along the length of the driver portion, a pair of short frustoconical projections extend outwardly from opposite sides of the tapered surface section of the driver portion.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the design for the portable electric driver;Fig. 2 is a front elevation view thereof;Fig. 3 is a rear elevation view thereof;Fig. 4 is a left side elevation view thereof;Fig. 5 is a right side elevation view thereof;Fig. 6 is a top plan view thereof; andFig. 7 is a bottom plan view thereof.Diagrams of the design are included.
