Abstract

processo de modificação genética de bactérias acidófilas e construção de um vetor de transformação. a presente invenção descreve um processo de transformação de bactérias acidôfilas quimiolitotróficas através da técnica de eletroporação. o processo proposto é capaz de transformar uma linhagem de bactéria com um vetor de transformação denominado vetor paf que contém uma origem vegetativa de replicação capaz de conferir ao vetor a habilidade de se replicar no interior da bactéria, sem alterar suas funções fisiológicas naturais e, o uso das bactérias modificadas de acordo com a invenção em processos de biolixiviação de minérios sulfatados de cobre, ouro, urânio níquel, zinco, cobalto e outros.
