Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a genes de plantas implicados en la regulación negativa de la resistencia a patógenos de plantas y a usos de los mismos. Más concretamente, la invención se refiere a plantas que tienen una función de fitosulfocina (PSK) defectuosa y que exhiben un incremento de la resistencia a los patógenos vegetales. La invención también se refiere a procedimientos para producir plantas modificadas resistentes a varias enfermedades. Además, la invención también se refiere a plantas que tienen una función defectuosa del receptor de PSK (PSKR) y a procedimientos de detección selectiva y de identificación de moléculas que modulan la expresión o la actividad del PSKR.
