"elétrodo de retorno eletrocirúrgico auto-limitador com redução da ferida por pressão e fatores térmicos" tem-se a descrição de um elétrodo eletrocirúrgico auto-limitador para uso em eletrocirurgia e para diversos outros procedimentos cirúrgicos. o elétrodo inclui um elemento térmico para a geração de calor para aquecimento de um paciente repousando sob o cuidado do elétrodo. o elétrodo pode incluir ainda de um ou mais pensos para a prevenção da criação de feridas advindas por pressão ou feridas abertas por posições deitadas junto a um paciente repousando sob o cuidado do elétrodo. o elétrodo apresenta uma impedância em volume efetiva igual ou maior do que em torno de 4.000 o.cm, vindo a surgir a partir da presença dos componentes resistivos, componentes indutivos, ou combinações desses elementos. através da seleção das características da impedância para os materiais de elétrodos, e através da lapidação das geometrias do elétrodo, o elétrodo da presente invenção é auto-regulável e auto-limitador quanto a densidade da corrente e da elevação da temperatura de maneira a prevenir-se quanto a traumas induzidos ao paciente,
