Abstract

VEDAçãO DE EIXO MULTIDIRECIONAL. A presente invenção refere-se a uma vedação dinâmica que proporciona o retorno de um lubrificante capturado para um lado lubrificante qualquer que seja a direção de rotação entre a vedação e o eixo. A vedação utiliza elementos de bombeamento bidirecionais a fim de facilitar o bombeamento hidrodinâmico do lubrificante capturado em resposta a uma rotação relativa. A vedação inclui uma porção de válvula que modifica a taxa de bombeamento de elementos de bombeamento particulares de tal modo que mais lubrificante seja bombeado para o lado lubrificante do que para o lado não-lubrificante.
