Abstract

MéTODO DE GERENCIAMENTO DE TAMANHO DE METADADOS DE GUIA DE SERVIçOS. A invenção permite a redução da complexidade do gerenciamento do tamanho de um Guia de Serviços relacionado com o gerenciamento da largura de banda ocupada por uma combinação de fluxos que compreende fluxos de áudio e/ou vídeo, fluxos de sinalização e fluxos de guia de serviços. A invenção refere-se mais especificamente a um método de gerenciamento do tamanho dos metadados de um guia de serviços, por dispositivos parte de uma rede de contribuição, e que compreende uma etapa (1501) de determinação de um tamanho máximo para os metadados do guia de serviços como uma função do nível de preenchimento de um encapsulador de protocolos, uma etapa (1502) de uma mensagem que contém o tamanho máximo para os metadados do guia de serviços a um servidor de guia de serviços e uma etapa (1503) de entrega, pelo servidor de guia de serviços, dos metadados do guia de serviços ao encapsulador de protocolos no qual o tamanho dos metadados do guia de serviços seja inferior ou igual ao tamanho máximo.
