Abstract

complexo de haleto de magnésio, processo para preparar o complexo de haleto de magnésio, componente catalisador útil em polimerizaçao olefinica, catalisador para apolimerizaçao de uma olefina e processo para polimerizar olefinas. a invenção provê um complexo de haleto de magnésio, lendo uma composição representada pela fórmula (1) mgx~ 2~.mrohneph~ 2~o (1) na qual x é cloreto, brometo, ou um alcoxi ou ariloxi de c~ 1~-c~ 14~; r é alquila de c~ 1~-c~ 12~, cicloalquila de c~ 3~-c~ 10~ ou arila de c~ 6~-c~ 10~; e é hidrocarboneto com di-hidrocarbiloxigeminado representado pela fórmula (ii) na qual r~ 1~ e r~ 2~, que são idênticos ou diferentes, são hidrogênio ou alquila linear ou ramificado de c~ 1~-c~ 10~,cicloalquila de c~ 3~-c~ 10~, arila de c~ 6~-c~ 10~, alquilarila ou arilalquila de c~ 7~-c~ 10~, os ditos arila, alquilarila e arilalquila sendo opcionalmente substituidos por um ou mais átomos de halogênio no anel aromático; opcionalmente r~ 1~ e r~ 2~ ligam-se um ao outro para formar um anel ou sistema de anel fundido; r~ 3~ e r~ 4~ têm os mesmos significados definidos para r~ 1~ e r~ 2~ outros que não hidrogênio; m está na faixa de 1 a 5; n está na faixa de 0,005 a 1,0; e p está na faixa de o a 0,8. a invenção refere-se ainda a um componente catalisador esférico e a um catalisador preparado com o complexo de haleto de magnésio esférico, e ao uso do catalisador na polimerização de cx-olefinas ch~ 2~=chr ou uma mistura das mesmas, na qual r é h, ou alquila ou arila tendo de 1 a 12 átomos de carbono.
