Abstract

GENóTIPOS, ALELOS E MARCADORES MOLECULARES ASSOCIADOS A FERRUGEM ASIáTICA DA SOJA, BEM COMO MéTODOS, PROCESSOS E USOS DOS MESMOS. A presente invenção refere-se a métodos de seleção para resistência ou tolerância à ferrugem, com destaque para ferrugem asiática da soja (FAS - Phakopsora pachyrhizi). Além disso, a presente invenção refere-se ao uso de marcadores moleculares para o gênero Glycine, em especial para Glycine max. A presente invenção também trata de um método para identificar loci com características quantitativas e/ou qualitativas associadas com resistência ou tolerância à ferrugem em planta por meio de marcadores moleculares. Tais marcadores podem ser utilizados para seleção assistida em programas de melhoramento que visem selecionar plantas resistentes ou tolerantes a doenças. A presente invenção tem também por objeto o processo de piramidação de genes relacionados à resistência a ferrugem. Os marcadores da presente invenção também são úteis para clonagem posicional de genes resistentes ou tolerantes a ferrugem. Também são descritos um método de obtenção de cultivares resistentes ou tolerantes a doenças, um processo de obtenção de uma população de planta e um método de controle de doenças em uma população de planta. Outro objeto da presente invenção é o uso de espécies do gênero Glycine como fonte de resistência para a obtenção de cultivares resistentes ou tolerantes a FAS.
