Abstract
sistema de fixação externa, e, kit para construção de um sistema de fixação externa. é descrito um sistema de fixação externa para conectar um ou mais segmentos entre si para facilitar a cicatrização óssea. o sistema pode incluir um ou mais anéis e/ou segmentos anelares. um ou mais extensores lineares e/ou extensores angulares podem conectar os anéis entre si de maneira a permitir o afastamento e/ou a redução/compressão de um osso. extensores lineares podem permitir que um operador mova os anéis a favor e contra, um em relação ao outro, enquanto extensores angulares podem permitir que um operador angule os anéis um em relação ao outro. em uma modalidade com uso de extensores angulares, um ou mais conjuntos de separação angular podem ser posicionados entre os anéis. esses conjuntos de separação podem ter juntas que podem ter duas partes que podem ser anguladas uma em relação à outra e conectadas direta ou indiretamente nos anéis. vários prendedores (por exemplo, porcas) e/ou elementos de aperto podem ser configurados para movimento rápido ao longo dos vários componentes e para aperto seletivo dos mesmos. além disso, grampos podem ser anexados nos anéis e podem encaixar pinos, arames, hastes, que podem ser inseridos no osso para unir segmentos de osso um no outro. os componentes do sistema de fixação externa podem ser fornecidos em conjuntos ou kits de maneira que o cirurgião possa selecionar várias combinações de componentes para criar um sistema de fixação externo que é configurado especificamente para as necessidades particulares de um paciente e a fratura/deformidade óssea.
