Abstract

Método para a fabricação de artigos multicamadas apresentando efeitos visuais especiais. A presente invenção se refere a um método para a fabricação de um artigo multicamada, sendo que o dito artigo multicamada compreende: (1) uma primeira camada compreendendo uma resina acrílica; (ii) ao menos uma segunda camada translúcida compreendendo (a) uma resina acrílica, opcionalmente ainda compreendendo um modificador de resistência ao impacto; (b) uma composição de resina termoplástica modificada por borracha; (c) opcionalmente um modificador da reologia; e (d) um aditivo de efeito visual; (iii) uma terceira camada compreendendo uma resina de acrilonitrila/butadieno/estireno (ABS); e (iv) uma camada de base opcional compreendendo um substrato polimérico termocurado ou resina ABS com uma carga de vidro, opcionaímente reforçado com fibras; e sendo que o dito método compreende as etapas de: (1) secar os componentes da segunda camada, tanto de forma individual quanto em combinação, até um contudo de voláteis menor que 0,06% em peso antes de processar uma mistura compreendendo os ditos componentes de modo a formar a dita segunda camada; e (II) co-extrusar as segunda e terceira camadas, e opcionalmente a primeira camada de modo a formar o artigo multicamada.
