Abstract

MOTOR DE IGNIçãO POR CENTELHA, SOBREALIMENTADO OU TURBOALIMENTADO. A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de gerenciamento de combustível para a operação melhorada de um motor à gasolina com ignição por centelhas. Os injetores injetam um agente antidetonante, tal como etanol, diretamente em um cilindro. é preferido que a injeção direta ocorra depois do fechamento da válvula de entrada. Também é preferido que a operação estequiométrica com um catalisador de três vias (10) seja usada para minimizar as emissões. Além disso, também é preferido que os agentes antidetonantes tenham um calor de vaporização por unidade de energia de combustão que é pelo menos três vezes aquele da gasolina.
