Abstract

COMBUSTãO DE EMISSõES REDUZIDAS UTILIZANDO CATALISADOR DE COMBUSTãO METáLICO DE MúLTIPLOS COMPONENTES. Combustíveis diesel contendo baixas concentrações de catalisadores específicos combustível-carregado trimetálicos e bimetálicos que reduzem substâncias particuladas e outras emissões sem o uso de dispositivos de tratamento posteriores, tais como filtros ou catalisadores, por exemplo, filtros de substâncias particuladas de diesel (FSPDs) ou catalisadores de oxidação de disel (COD's) no caso de motores diesel. Por meio da utilização de um combustível contendo um catalisador combustível-solúvel compreendido de platina e pelo menos um metal adicional compreendendo cério e/ou ferro, a produção de poluentes do tipo gerado por combustão incompleta é reduzida.
