Abstract
CéLULA DE ZINCO/AR. A presente invençao refere-se a uma célula de zinco e ar com um recipiente do ânodo compreendendo material ativo do ânodo e um recipiente do cátodo compreendendo material catalítico ou material ativo do cátodo, em que o recipiente do cátodo compreende uma camada de níquel exposta que foi amolecida para otimizar o contato elétrico com o dispositivo sendo alimentado, como um aparelho auditivo. Um recipiente de cátodo no formato e no tamanho desejados é formado por um metal de substrato, como aço laminado a frio ou aço inoxidável. Uma camada de níquel é folheada sobre o metal de substrato do recipiente do cátodo e é, subseqúentemente, tratada por calor resultando na redução da dureza de superfície da camada de níquel. Isso otimiza a conflabilidade do contato elétrico entre o recipiente do cátodo e o terminal correspondente no aparelho auditivo ou outro dispositivo sendo alimentado.
