Abstract

SILICATO EM CAMADAS INTERCALADAS. A presente invenção refere-se a um silicato de camadas intercaladas compreende um silicato em camadas e um agente de intercalação sorvido entre as camadas de silicato do silicato em camadas. A quantidade de agente de intercalação é efetiva para prover um espaçamento intercamadas médio entre as camadas de silicato de pelo menos cerca de 20 angstr÷ns. O agente de intercalação tem uma fórmula selecionadas de fórmula I até VII aqui descritas. O silicato de camadas intercaladas pode ser esfoliado através de mistura do mesmo com um meio matriz e adicionando suficiente energia para formar uma composição de partículas dispersas. Um filme de embalagem, tal como um filme de embalagem de alimento, pode compreender a composição de partículas disperesas.
