Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES DE BACTERIóFAGOS". São fornecidos composições de bacteriófagos, e métodos para preparação de composições de bacteriófagos. O método para produção de uma composição antibacteriana envolve adsorver uma solução aquosa de um ou mais bacteriófagos, ou um ou mais componentes de fagos, em uma matriz para produzir uma composição, e secar a composição para produzir a composição antibacteriana. Também é fornecida uma composição antibacteriana compreendendo uma ou mais de uma cepa de bacteriófago, um ou mais de componente de fago, adsorvido em uma matriz. A composição antibacteriana também pode ser encapsulada. A composição antibacteriana, ou a composição antibacteriana encapsulada, pode ser usada dentro um creme, loção ou gel, ser misturada com um veículo farmaceuticamente aceitável e administrada em aplicações tópica, oral, nasal usada como um pó inalante, ou a composição antibacteriana ou composição antibacteriana encapsulada, pode ser adicionada a um alimento para uso animal, aquático ou aves.
