Abstract

EQUIPAMENTO E MéTODO PARA GERAR UM SINAL DE SAìDA MULTICANAIS. Equipamento para gerar um sinal de saída multicanais executa um cancelamento de canal central para obter canais de base melhorados para reconstruir canais de saída do lado esquerdo ou canais de saída do lado direito. Em especial, o equipamento inclui um calculador de canal de cancelamento (20) para calcular um canal de cancelamento usando informação relacionada ao canal central original disponível no decodificador. O dispositivo inclui ainda um combinador (22) para combinar um canal de transmissão com o canal de cancelamento. Finalmente, o equipamento inclui um reconstrutor (26) para gerar o sinal de saída multicanais. Devido ao cancelamento do canal central, o reconstrutor de canal (26) não apenas usa um canal de base diferente para reconstruir o canal central, mas também usa canais de base diferentes dos canais de transmissão para reconstruir canais de saída esquerdo e direito que têm uma influência reduzida ou mesmo completamente cancelada do canal central original.
