Abstract
LENTE OFTáLMICA COM FUNçãO ELETROóPTICA. A presente invenção refere-se a lente oftálmica que compreende um substrato transparente (3) e meios eletroópticos (5) integrados ao substrato para oferecer uma função óptica em resposta a um estimulo elétrico. A lente oftálmica da invenção compreende, além disso, pelo menos uma célula fotovoltaica (6) integrada ao substrato para alimentar os meios eletroópticos em resposta a uma luz incidente e, opcionalmente, um circuito de controle da tensão elétrica. A célula fotoelétrica (6) pode ser incorporada a um elemento opaco que ocupa uma pequena parte da superfície da lente. Alternadamente, a célula fotovoltaica (6) pode ser transparente e pode recobrir, pelo menos em parte, a superfície da lente.
