Abstract

SISTEMA PARA DISTRIBUIçãO DE CONTEúDO MULTIMìDIA A PASSAGEIROS DE LINHAS AéREAS. é apresentado um sistema para a distribuição de conteúdo multimídia aos passageiros de uma linha aérea. De acordo com várias implementações, o sistema possui uma unidade de exibição de vídeo disposta próxima a um assento ao qual o passageiro da aeronave é designado. A própria unidade de exibição de vídeo possui uma tela de exibição e um decodificador de vídeo. Um dispositivo de entrada do usuário é conectado de forma a se comunicar com a unidade de exibição de vídeo. Quando o passageiro da aeronave manipula o dispositivo de entrada do usuário, os sinais que representam um vídeo sob demanda são transmitidos à unidade de exibição de vídeo e recebidos pelo decodificador de vídeo. O decodificador de vídeo, então, decodifica os sinais, assim permitindo que o vídeo sob demanda seja exibido na tela de exibição.
