Abstract
IN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE WITH ROTATING PISTON". The development in a rotary piston internal combustion engine comprises a rotor (1), a housing (2) with caps (3), a rotor separating ring (4) and a camshaft (5). The rotor (1) has the shape of a flattened tube, whose cross section is of an elongated circle, better defined as an epitrocoidal profile. The housing (2) has the outer shape of a cylinder with an inner cavity (21) which is divided into three working chambers (22), each shaped like a cylinder segment, which are interspersed by three lobes (23). . The engine covers (3) have a central opening (31) where a separating ring (4) is coupled with a pinion gear (41) guiding the rotation of the rotor (1). The lids (3) also have three elongated windows (33) for fuel gas inlet and flue gas exhaust. The separator ring (4) connects the camshaft (5) and the rotor (1), allowing the rotor (1) to be hollow. On one side, the splitter ring (4) has a pinion gear (41) that engages with the gear cover (32) of the engine cover (3). Mounting between the separator ring (4) and the rotor (1) is by interference. A sealing system between the chambers (22) and the rotor (1) prevents the lateral exhaust of the combustion gases from one chamber to the other, since the pressures in each chamber change as the rotor ( 1) turns. The sealing system consists of a rod (24) seated in a seat positioned at the apex of the lobe (23) of the housing (2), which defines the ends of the chambers (22). Optionally, the motor may have a second internal stator (7) which is in the form of a triangular prism with outwardly arched walls forming three angled lobes which, while rotating, simultaneously defines internal chambers (8), doubling the power of the motor. motor.
