Abstract

"ENCHIMENTO DE UMBILICAL". A invenção refere-se a um umbilical que compreende pelo menos dois elementos alongados escolhidos de um grupo que consiste em tubos de aço (1, 2), cabos elétricos (4), cabos de fibra ótica (3), e suas combinações dispostos lado a lado dentro de uma cobertura externa comum (5) ao longo do comprimento do umbilical, onde os interstícios entre os elementos alongados (2, 3, 4) e entre os elementos alongados (2, 3, 4) e a cobertura comum (5) são preenchidos com um material de enchimento fluido (6), o qual temperará a uma viscosidade mais alta após o enchimento completo e aderirá na superfície externa dos elementos (2, 3, 4) e na superfície interna da cobertura comum (5).
