"PEçA NúCLEO DE UM DISPOSITIVO CATALìTICO PARA GáS DE EXAUSTãO, E, MéTODOS PARA FABRICAR A MESMA E PARA INSERçãO E FIXAçãO DE UMA PEçA NúCLEO EM UM DISPOSITIVO CATALìTICO PARA GáS DE EXAUSTãO". Uma peça núcleo nova para um dispositivo catalisador para gás de exaustão capaz de realizar redução adicional em peso, custos, e etc., que são constantemente demandados para componentes relacionados a automóvel, um método de produzir a peça núcleo e um método de inserir e fixar a peça núcleo. Uma peça núcleo (3) para um dispositivo catalisador para gás de exaustão (1), fornecido dentro de um corpo tubular externo (2) para o interior do qual um gás de exaustão (G) é enviado, e que purifica o gás de exaustão (G) por meio de um catalisador colado e formado sobre a superfície da peça núcleo (3), no qual a peça núcleo (3) é ligada ao corpo tubular externo (2) por, no mínimo, qualquer método onde a peça núcleo (3) é formada de modo a retornar elasticamente na direção periférica externa quando a peça núcleo (3) é deformada na direção periférica interna, prendendo a peça núcleo (3) ao corpo tubular externo (2) e a peça núcleo (3) é ligada ao corpo tubular externo (2) por elasticidade de mola da própria peça núcleo (3), ou um método onde uma porção apropriada do tubo externo (2) para o interior do qual a peça núcleo (3) é inserida, é reduzido em diâmetro para ligar a peça núcleo (3) ao corpo tubular externo (2).
