Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO DE VEDAçãO". Um dispositivo de vedação de mancal de cilíndro com uma vedação de munhão (4), à qual está predisposta do lado da mesa do cilindro uma vedação anular (8), que está unida fixamente com uma saliência anular (7) da caixa de mancal (5) e cujo lábio de vedação (18) assenta no lado frontal (10) do cilindro (1) com contato de vedação, deve ser aperfeiçoado de tal maneira que o lábio de vedação da vedação anular mal seja ainda ativado pelo agente refrigerante misturado com impurezas, que apresente maior vida útil e em que nenhuma água de pulverização possa penetrar em aberturas de escoamento. Para tanto é proposto que um perfil anular (11) em forma de L em seção transversal esteja unido fixamente com sua primeira perna (12) com o lado frontal (14) do cilíndro (1) , que o lábio de vedação (18) assente sobre áreas da primeira perna (12), que a segunda perna (13) do perfil (11) em forma de L vede com pequena distância a vedação anular (8) e regiões da saliência anular (7) no sentido da mesa do cilindro, e que a saliência anular (7) apresente no lado externo, e aberta para fora, uma ranhura de escoamento (9).
