Abstract
CALHA AQUECIDA PARA METAL FUNDIDO. A presente invenção refere-se a uma calha para transportar metal fundido, compreendendo uma concha externa definida por uma parede de fundo e duas paredes laterais, uma camada de isolamento enchendo a concha externa e um corpo de calha condutor refratário em forma de U para transportar metal fundido, o corpo da calha sendo incrustado na camada de isolamento. Pelo menos um elemento de aquecimento é posicionado na camada de isolamento, adjacente ao corpo da calha mas espaçado dele, para fornecer um vão de ar entre o elemento de aquecimento e o corpo de calha.
