Abstract
"APARELHO DE PROTEçãO CONTRA SOBRETENSãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho de proteção contra sobretensão com um primeiro eletrodo (1), com um segundo eletrodo (2), com uma distância explosiva das faíscas de descarga formada entre os dois eletrodos (1, 2) e com uma carcaça (3) que recebe os dois eletrodos (1, 2), sendo que, durante a ignição da distância explosiva das faíscas de descarga entre os dois eletrodos (1, 2) surge um arco voltaico (4) dentro de um espaço de descarga (5) que liga os dois eletrodos (1, 2). De acordo com a invenção, o aparelho de proteção contra sobretensão apresenta uma capacidade de corrente seqüencial de rede particularmente alta, contudo, mesmo assim executado de modo simples, e na verdade, pelo fato e que, o espaço de descarga (5) é formado, de tal modo que, pelo menos, parcialmente ele passa transversal e/ou oposto na direção do campo elétrico de uma tensão de rede existente, de tal modo que, o trajeto entre os dois eletrodos (1, 2) a ser vencido pelo arco voltaico (4) apresenta uma componente transversal ao campo elétrico E.
