Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO DE BRAQUITERAPIA E MéTODO PARA TRATAR UM TECIDO ALVO ATRAVéS DE UMA áREA SUPERFICIAL EXTERNA DO TECIDO ALVO". é provido um dispositivo de braquiterapia para tratar um tecido alvo através de uma área superficial externa do tecido alvo. O dispositivo inclui um elemento de inserção que tem uma parte proximal, uma parte distal e pelo menos uma câmara de pressão que se estende através delas. Um elemento de retenção de fluido é casado com a parte distal do elemento de inserção e tem uma primeira superfície modelada para se adequar à forma de uma área superficial externa predeterminada de um tecido a ser tratado, e uma cavidade formada nela em comunicação fluídica com pelo menos uma câmara de pressão no elemento de inserção. Uma pluralidade de elementos de âncora pode ser distribuída em torno de uma periferia da primeira superfície para ancorar a primeira superfície em uma área superficial externa de um tecido a ser tratado.
