Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO E MéTODO DE FIXAçãO ESPINHAL". A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de fixação espinhal. O dispositivo pode inclui um corpo definindo um canal para receber uma haste espinhal, o canal tendo uma primeira ramificação e uma segunda ramificação separadas por uma abertura lateral, um gancho se estendendo do corpo para encaixar uma porção de uma vértebra, e um prendedor configurado para prender a haste espinhal no canal. O prendedor pode se estender através apenas da primeira ramificação. O dispositivo de fixação espinhal pode inclui também um ou mais recessos de encaixe de ferramenta. Adicionalmente, a presente invenção refere-se a métodos de fixação espinhal.
