Abstract
"MéTODO E CODIFICADOR PARA CODIFICAR UM SINAL DE SOM AMOSTRADO, MéTODO E DECODIFICADOR PARA DECODIFICAR UM FLUXO DE BIT REPRESENTATIVO DE UM SINAL DE SOM AMOSTRADO, FLUXO DE BIT REPRESENTATIVO DE UM SINAL DE SOM AMOSTRADO, TELEFONE CELULAR, SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO DE FALA, E, PROGRAMA DE COMPUTADOR". A presente invenção relaciona a um método de quantização de ganho e a um dispositivo para implementar a técnica de codificação de um sinal de som amostrado e processado, durante a codificação, por quadros sucessivos de L amostras, onde cada quadro é dividido em um número de sub-quadros e cada sub-quadro compreende um número N de amostras, onde N <L. No método e dispositivo de quantização de ganho, o ganho de passo inicial é calculado baseado em um número f de sub-quadros, uma parte do livro-código de quantização de ganho é selecionada em relação ao ganho de passo inicial, e os ganhos de passo e de livro-código fixo são quantificados juntos. A quantização de união dos ganhos de passo e de livro-código fixo compreende, para o número f de sub-quadros, buscar o livro-código de quantização de ganho em relação a um critério de busca. A busca do livro-código é restrita à parte selecionada do livro-código de quantização de ganho e um índice da parte selecionada do melhor livro-código de quantização de ganho que satisfaz o critério de busca é encontrado.
