Abstract

"COBERTURA PROTETORA DE PLANTA". A presente invenção refere-se a uma cobertura protetora de planta de um material polimérico translúcido incluindo pelo menos um modificador de espectro de transmissão para minimizar a transmissão na faixa de ultravioleta até 350 nm; e para ajustar a transmissão na faixa de luz visível entre 350 nm e 750 nm de acordo com as necessidades fotomorfogênicas e fotossintéticas das plantas a serem cultivadas debaixo da cobertura protetora de planta, para realçar as condições de crescimento de tais plantas. A cobertura também inclui um modificador de espectro de transmissão para minimizar a transmissão na faixa de infravermelho acima de 750 nm. A transmissão na faixa de luz visível entre 350 nm e 750 nm é ajustada diminuindo-se os comprimentos de onda amarelo e verde transmitidos e mudando-se a relação de comprimentos de onda transmitidos azul para vermelho com respeito a uma relação de 2:3. A cobertura otimiza as condições de crescimento para plantas cultivadas debaixo da cobertura desse modo fornecendo desempenho e crescimento de planta relativamente realçados. Novo quadro reivindicatório (total de 24 reivindicações), incorporando as emendas às reivindicações, conforme relatório de exame preliminar.
