Abstract

"CONJUNTO PARA REDUçãO DE FRATURA E MéTODO DE REALIZAR REDUçãO CRáNIO-FACIAL". é divulgado um conjunto para redução de fratura crânio-facial, o conjunto fornecendo a um cirurgião controle preciso sobre a redução cirúrgica de pedaços de osso crânio-facial fraturado. O conjunto para redução de fratura pode inclui uma plataforma de redução e um manipulador de fragmento rosqueado. A plataforma de redução tem superfícies superior e inferior e pelo menos um furo de acomodação em comunicaçao com ela. O furo de acomodação é configurado para aceitar um manipulador de fragmento. O manipulador de fragmento pode compreende um elemento alongado que tem uma porção de engatamento de osso para engatar um pedaço alvo de osso fraturado, e uma porção rosqueada central. Trabalhando em combinação com uma porca de redução, o manipulador de fragmento fornece controle preciso sobre o vetor de redução de fragmento. Em utilização, a extremidade de engatamento com osso do manipulador de fragmento é inserida através do furo de acomodação na plataforma de redução e então na região da fratura onde ele engata o pedaço alvo de osso fraturado.
