Abstract
"CéLULA ELETROLìTICA". Esta invenção se refere a uma célula eletrolítica (10) incluindo uma carcaça (20) com uma entrada (52) e uma saída (54) para permitir a vazão de fluido através da carcaça (20). Um anodo (46) e um catodo (42) são posicionados dentro da carcaça (20), o catodo (42) distante do anodo (46). Preferivelmente, uma ou mais placas eletrolíticas bipolares (40), espaçadas separadas, são posicionadas deslizantes entre o anodo (46) e o catodo (42). Cada placa eletrolítica (40) tem quatro bordas (40a, 40b, 40e e 40d) com três das quatro bordas (40a, 40b e 40c) fixadas com segurança dentro da carcaça (20) de modo a formar uma vedação com a carcaça (20). A quarta borda (40d) em uma posição de folga em relação à carcaça (20) para formar uma rota (R) para a vazão de fluido em serpentina através da mesma. Os dois lados da carcaça (20), as tampas das pontas (30, 32) e as chapas de topo e de fundo (22, 24) da carcaça (20) contêm rasgos (23, 25, 35). Os comprimentos dos rasgos (23, 25, 35) das chapas de topo e de fundo (22, 24) são alternados no tamanho. Os rasgos do topo alternados, rasgos do fundo alternados (25, 35) e um dos rasgos alternados da tampa da ponta (35) recebem três das quatro bordas (40a, 40b e 40c) de cada placa eletrolítica (40). A quarta borda (40d) quando montada em um rasgo no topo ou no fundo define uma folga entre a borda da placa (40) e a carcaça (20). Uma rota (R) em serpentina é formada por estas folgas e os espaços entre as placas eletrolíticas (40). O fluido escoa ao longo desta rota (R) através da célula (10).
