Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA CALIBRAçãO DE ABERROSCóPIO E COMPENSAçãO DISCRETA". A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de calibração para um aberroscópio que inclui um elemento ótico que é inserível em um percurso ótico de um analisador de frente de onda. O elemento ótico é adaptado para induzir uma aberração predeterminada em uma frente de onda. O elemento ótico, que pode ser transmissivo ou refletivo, pode compreender uma lente otimizada para uma potência e aberração específicas; um holograma gerado por computador; ou um modulador de luz espacial. Uma frente de onda substancialmente não aberrada é passada ao longo de um percurso ótico levando a um analisador de frente de onda. Uma aberração predeterminada é induzida na frente de onda não aberrada usando um elemento ótico posicionado no percurso ótico. A frente de onda aberrada é então analisada usando-se o analisador de frente de onda, que é calibrado usando dados gerados pelo analisador de frente de onda da frente de onda aberrada.
