Patente de invenção que respeito a um processo para construção de uma bomba de assistência circulatória ventricular direita ou esquerda, de fácil instalação e manuseio, que possa ser mantida por uma fonte (bomba) pneumática sincronizada ao ciclo cardíaco. Com baixo custo, temos ainda que o mecanismo de trabalho da força pneumática sincronizada ao ciclo cardíaco é fornecida por um aparelho já existente em qualquer hospital, já que a proposta é usar como fonte de ar sincronizada: o balão intra-aórtico, equipamento usado de rotina em todos os hospitais de grande porte. Composta por duas câmaras, sendo a primeira para passagem de ar e a segunda para passagem de sangue, as quais são divididas por uma membrana de silicone. A primeira câmara (de ar) tem um tubo de entrada e saída de ar injetado e aspirado pela bomba pneumática ou balão intra-aórtico. A segunda, sendo câmara para bombeamento de sangue, tem uma entrada que recebe o sangue vindo do coração que é direcionada por uma válvula mecânica ou biológica com o fluxo unidirecional, levando o sangue para dentro da segunda câmara.
