Abstract
"PNEU COM CAMADA VEDANTE INCORPORADA E SUA PREPARAçãO". Esta invenção se refere a um pneu com uma camada vedante incorporada e a sua preparação. o precursor de camada vedante é uma camada de uma composição à base de borracha butílica que contém um organoperóxido. A borracha butílica do precursor é um copolímero de isobutileno e isopreno contendo de cerca de 0, 5 a cerca de 5, alternativamente menos de 1, moles por cento de isopreno, A composição precursora contém negro-de-fumo e/ou pó de carvão e pode conter uma dispersão de polímero de dieno conjugado líquido (por exemplo, polímero de cis 1,4-poliisopreno líquido) , fibras curtas e/ou microesferas de vidro ocas. Uma camada do precursor de vedante é incorporada no pneu entre um revestimento interno de borracha halobutílica vulcanizada com enxofre e a borracha à base de dieno conjugado da carcaça do pneu. A borracha butílica do precursor de vedante é parcialmente despolimerizada pelo organoperóxido durante a vulcanização a temperatura elevada do pneu, para formar a camada vedante incorporada.
